Doll Applique Block Pattern

I think these are the cutest little dolls.  A vintage pattern from the 30's or 40's. I found these three blocks, they are on a 15 inch piece of very pale pink sateen. It says on the selvage "Princess Satin". I have made patterns for the little girl and little boy here.  I think they would work as 12 inch blocks. Have fun!

  2. These are cute! I have some patterns for embroidered Dolly Dingle characters by Grace Drayton (resemble the Campbell Soup Kids, also her creation). So appealing! Thanks for the patterns.

  4. I am totally Blogerly challenged so I do hope you can help. I would like to contact you regarding a post on April 8, 2012 of a little baby animals quilt you posted. I have one extremely similar right down to the red animals going diagonly down the center. I would love to communicate with you about yours (ie. where did you find it etc.). Mine des not have a lobster on it but I am from Maine and I found mine in Maine so I am really curious about yours. My name is Wendy Reed (if you Google Wendy Caton Reed you will see some of my work) and my e-mail address is gwreed15@comcast.net. Thanks!
