This one is too cute!
All different animals, I have seen a McCall's pattern similar to this so this might have been made from a pattern. Maybe from the 30's

I have wanted an Alice in Wonderland quilt for over 10 years.
Saw one on Ebay in 1999 but was outbid, looking for one ever since

1st one has to be the old woman who lived in a shoe (and had so many kids she didn't know what to do).

This lady sells the kit and patterns to make the Alice Quilt, I plan on purchasing it to make for my baby's nursery.

cindys antiques got the patterns from a lady named Barb Perrin. Barb is a very good quilter who has placed in many shows. Barb made those patterns as accurate as she could. Her web page is down right now, but usually you can go to www.barbperrin.com
ReplyDeleteI happen to have run into the ca. 1955 Alice in Wonderland Quilt, but it is a bit stained and beat up, would it be advisable to wash it in the washing machine or have it dry cleaned?
ReplyDeleteWould love to find pattern for the 'old woman who lived in a shoe' that you have pictured above.
