A sampler with a 1974 date.
This is a Mountain Mist Pattern.
I usually don't like orange, but the Quilts that you have shared are beautiful. Some of the patterns are new to me and are very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have not made an orange quilt, but now I want to! I can barely believe all the beautiful quilts you own (and you collect more than just orange, I suspect). I was planning to tell you which ones are my favorites, but it's too difficult to choose. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteOMG! OMG! OMG! I'm glad I kept looking at all your previous posts. Orange is my favorite color! For years I tried denying it, but finally learned to live with it! Now my quilt studio is all done in orange and aqua. I think you'd like my blog, annalenaland.com. I blog about more than just quilts, but if you scroll down, the last thing in the box at the left, is a tag called Vintage Quilts. If you click on it, you'll see a lot of what I love. Karen
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me the name of the pattern 8 down from the top, (8 pointed star)? Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice. Last quilt is a great find, the MMist "Hollywood" pattern is not seen very often.
