Hello Lynn, I also love redwork, especially children at play. There are still some places that sell the pre-printed squares for young children to learn embroidery, but it's usually the seller making them up herself with old transfer copies on pinked squares of percale (cut up white bed sheets). Where their Nana/Mom ended and the child started is always obvious, but I always praise how smart they are to make something soooo beautiful. A friend once teased that the thread had to red to hide the blood from their pricked fingers.... she's silly sometimes. Thank you for sharing and I hope you will be posting again very soon.
